well i really have no idea about what i am gonna rite here. i know i might sound a lil lost and confused at da mo... but wat to do. circumstances coz us to be dat way....

i donno if you have ever noticed dat verse in da Bible. it goes lyk dis, " A good name is more precious than an expensive perfume! the day of your death is more imp. than da day of ur birth"
now wat does this good name mean?? i have spent almost a whole week thinkin abt it. a good name...a good name...does it mean dat ur name or ur status??? i have no clue...
have u ever thought how important can ur name be???
we need our name for our identity. we need it to be certified, to be called, to be listened to, to be written.....written in da big 'book of life'
hmm dats sumthing to think about....we keep sayin dat our good deeds are written in da book of life but do we ever make any effort to be so much more precious then an expensive perfume, dat perfume which was poured on Jesus....is our name so precious???
and another one...da day die is more imp than da day we were born.... it is lyk sayin....it is not imp how u started ur race of life but how u ended it....
have u ever thought dat people can appreciate u on ur face but its when u die dat they tell u da truth about u. just think no one will ever lie about u.
got to go...
more later......

The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 Cups of Coffee

When things in your lives seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

"Now," said the professor as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things--your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.The sand is everything else---the small stuff. "If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you. "Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

God made women SPECIAL!!!!!!

By the time the Lord made woman, he was into his sixth day of working> overtime. An angel appeared and said, "Why are you spending so much> time on this one?" And the Lord answered, "Have you seen my spec sheet > on her?>> She has to be completely washable, but not plastic, have over 200> movable parts, all replaceable and able to run on diet coke and> leftovers, have a lap that can hold four children at one time, have a > kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart-and> she will do everything with only two hands.">> The angel was astounded at the requirements. "Only two hands! No way! > And that's just on the standard model? That's too much work for one> day. Wait until tomorrow to finish." "But I won't," the Lord> protested. "I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close > to my own heart. She already heals herself when she is sick AND can> work 18 hour days." The angel moved closer and touched the woman. "But> you have made her so soft, Lord." "She is soft," the Lord agreed, "but > I have also made her tough. You have no idea What she can endure or> accomplish.">> Will she be able to think?" asked the angel. The Lord replied, "Not> only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason and > negotiate.">> The angel then noticed something, and reaching out, touched the> woman's cheek.>> "Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model. I told you that > you were trying to put too much into this one." "That's not a leak,"> the Lord corrected, "that's a tear!" "What's the tear for?" the angel> asked. The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her > sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love, her loneliness, her> grief and her pride.">> The angel was impressed. "You are a genius, Lord. You thought of> everything! Woman is truly amazing." >> And she is! Women have strengths that amaze men. They bear hardships> and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy. They> smile when they want to scream. They sing when they want to cry. They > cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous. They fight> for what they believe in.>> They stand up to injustice. They don't take "no" for an answer when> they believe there is a better solution. They go without so their > family can have. They go to the doctor with a frightened friend. They> love unconditionally. They cry when their children excel and cheer> when their friends get awards. They are happy when they hear about a > birth or a wedding. Their hearts break when a friend dies. They grieve> at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think> there is no strength left. They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a > broken heart.>> Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors. They'll drive, fly, walk,> run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you. The heart of a> woman is what makes the world keep turning. They bring joy, hope and > love. They have compassion and ideals. They give moral support to> their family and friends.>> Women have vital things to say and everything to give.>> HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN, IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR > WORTH ..........

SLOW YOUR DANCE!!!

Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask "How are you?"
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say "Hi"?
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over

A condition that depends on IF....

A few days ago i was invited to a friend's birthday party....well it was not really a party but a prayer fellowship. There a lady sang a beautiful song and then with her eyes closed she said "there is always a condition after the word IF"
yes, ofcourse it sounded bizare to me untill she explaind what God was telling her.

"IF I speak in the tongues of men and of angles, but have not LOVE I am NOTHING" 1Cor 13:1

"IF you love me, you will obey waht I command." John 14:15

"IF you hold to my teachings, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH will set you free." John 8:32

I could add more verses as the whole Bible is full of IF's

She then explained....only IF we believe in God, then we will be part of His kingdom. If we hold on to Him, He will never let us go....

wow!! I never thought of IF in such a positive way....I always took it as if i dont do something then the whole world will fall down on me....but then this condition also holds a comitment. I obviously have to be commited....committed to God, to His people and everyone who needs Him....IF i am not commited then I gain nothing...but eternal suffering....I find this really amazing...The world revolves around IF.....soo cool naa....lol

The love of God depends on 'IF' we live for Him and walk on His footsteps....

I am highly amazed.....It a commandment with a huge promise behind it....WOW!!!!

when colours dont blend....

The reason for this title is...uumm....i donno really i feel dat it is da best title i could possibly give for this beautiful poem....

Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
there will always be sunshine,
after the rain ....
Perhaps you may stumble,
perhaps even fall,
But God's always ready,
To answer your call ....
He knows every heartache,
sees every tear,
A word from His lips,
can calm every fear ....
Your sorrows may linger,
throughout the night,
But suddenly vanish,
in dawn's early light ....
The Savior is waiting,
somewhere above,
To give you His grace,
and send you His love ...
Whatever your cross,
whatever your pain,
"God always sends rainbows .....
after the rain ... "

I am ritin a second blog fer dis thing....well i really donno wat to say but i am sure by the end i wud have too much to rite.

well just like anyother day in my life from the past year, I woke up at home again, but this time feeling rather scared and nervous. I dont really have an explanation to these feelings I am hoping that by the end of the day I will get and answer to it. It rained really bad last nite. I sure many poor people are left homeless on the streets and children goin to school all wet because they can't afford an umbrella. I really wish I could really provide for all the poor but I know since I cant really afford to help, my true prayers for them to God will provide for them. I have been told always by my dad, there are many out there praying for you also, I didnt belive him then but now I am starting to think he is right. When we receive blessings, we tend to give ourself credit and forget all those who were on their knees for us.

Oh dear!! lyk i mentioned above....once I start I wont stop but sadly I have to before I starve my sis and mum at lunch. just lyk anyother day in my life from the past year, I have to cook lunch. Donno what I will make but I betta hurry........

more of "insight" later.... :)
